THE HOOPING LIFE at FAME Nightclub

Friday June 8, FAME Nightclub will present a screening of the film ‘The Hooping Life’ check out their website at famenightclubwinnipeg.com for all upcoming events! The screening will begin at 9:45pm and doors will be opening at 9pm. In addition to this event The Winnipeg Prop Manipulators will host an open hoop jam the afternoon of Sunday June 10 in Old Market Square, more details on this event coming soon!

Tickets to the film screening and a night of AWESOME PERFORMERS!!! are $5 regular/standing or $10 VIP seating spots. Following the film there will be six feature and a number of other performers throughout the night!!

Summertime Flow Series One Hoop Dancing Classes in Winnipeg

linzsanity brand madness presents Summertime Flow Series 1 Hoop Dancing classes in Winnipeg.

These classes are great for beginner to intermediate hoopers looking to get into their flow! Classes will include hooping basics, beginner to intermediate tricks and an exploration of flow within your hoop! We will connect our bodies …with our hoops and have much fun in the process.
All levels and ages are welcome!!

Please bring your own hoop if you have. If you don’t have a hoop already I will have some available to use and purchase!

Classes will be 1.5 hours in length. from 7pm-8:30pm
Dates will be from Wednesday May 16th to Wednesday June 20th, 2012.
Classes are going to be held OUTSIDE in Memorial Park. In case of rain, make up dates will be announced.

Cost to attend this series will be a $15 drop-in rate OR
Register for all 6 weeks for a cost of $60.
Got some hoop friends? I am offering a special rate for pairs interested in attending!! If you AND a friends are interested you can register as a pair for a cost of $90 for the full 6 weeks of classes!

Gypsy RAQs 2 – Bellydance and Circus Show

Join me in Brandon May 11th for Gypsy RAQs 2: Bellydance & Circus Show!! For bellydance, juggling, and circus entertainment from a variety of performers! Up to date info and discussion can be found on the Facebook Event. [Fun for the whole family, this is your chance to see a variety of Bellydance, juggling of all kinds, poi, hula hoops, knives, and even some dangerous stunts, like glass walking!]
Event will be held at Knox United Church, 451 18th St. Tickets are available at all 3 Forbidden Flavors locations in Brandon, MB. Tickets include an amazing sampler dish brought to you by Tarons Treats. Advanced tickets are $10[adult] & $7[5-12]. Tickets will also be available at the doors for the price of $15[adult] & $10[youth].
Doors open at 7pm, Show is at 7:30pm. Parking is where ever you can find it. Seats are first come first serve, or if you need assistance please contact the organizers ahead of time.
